Brody had chronic diarrhea for a couple months now. It was to the point that the poor kid was having accidents in his pants at least once a day. He just turned four by the way and has been potty trained for awhile now. We had been to the doctor a couple times and did all the necessary blood tests related to any food allergies ect. Everything came back fine but we took him off dairy just in case. Several weeks went by and no improvement. The doctor's suggestion was to make a "diary" of when the loose bowel movements occur. Um are you kidding me, that's all you can suggest?!

I knew it was probably a secondary problem from ahus activity but still wanted to try everything I could to help him function normally (and for my own sanity of not having to clean up poopy pants every single day!) So I went to a natural path to see if she could help in any way. She put Brody on these tablets called Chlorella by Yaeyama. Obviously everyone is different but I was amazed by the results. It took about a week or two but Brody has not had an accident since. He actually has "normal" bowel movements now (sorry if this is to graphic lol). Something weird to be excited about but I really was:) So I just wanted to share this with any others who may be struggling with the same problem.

Just an update on Brody, other then the diarrhea which is now gone, Brody is doing great. It has been three years now since his diagnosis and first episode. We continue to get his labs done every six months or so (or if he's sick) and so far so good. Sending much love and prayers to all those affected by ahus and their amazing families.

I continue to give Brody the Chlorella (2 tablets 2x a day) and the diarrhea has not came back. Yay:)

Hi Amy,

Just checking in to see how Brody is doing now - hope it's still going great!  Does he continue the Chlorella still or was it taken for just a short time?  Hope all is well with your clan - spring must be fun with the chickens!
